Samoa is beautiful! I really enjoy it from the first moment we arrived at the airport. The YWAM base feels like our home base. Last week, our outreach was to primary schools where we teached the kids and did some items. I had the privilage to teach maths and economics :-) to grade 8. It was fun!
Next week we run a kings kids program at the base. We expect 50 kids, partly form the nearest village and partly form the shunami area.
Furthermore, during my free time I helped the base with their administration. So I spend a couple of day's to solve all the administrative problems. Next week, I'll prepare some reports for all the organisations that support the base with funds form United Nations, international churches etc. It's nice to work closely with the directors here and to hear their stories, worldview etc. (and it's not so hot in the office :-)). They where in charge of YWAM Taiwan for over 26 years and worked closely with a missionaris form my former church back home (Mark & Grace). The world is small...
Samoa is still a 3rd world country, but everything is clean: no rubbish on the streets etc. Nice cars and since we live close to the capital Apia, everything is pretty much available.

Hi Paul, today we were with almost the whole church at the binnenmaas playing volleybal and making fun together it was great!! Of course we were missing you but next time you are with us i guess! Have a very good time there in Samoa don't work to fast and please put some pic's on you site so that we know that it's true were you are talking about;-) Blessings JESCDT
